DeVivo Collision Centers has openings for full-time or part-time Auto Paint Preppers at our shop in Middletown, CT. Preppers individually prepare each vehicle throughout the repair process to help our technicians deliver high quality repairs. These are temporary positions of approximately 4-8 weeks starting in early June with the possibility of permanent employment afterwards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicles properly for paint, including washing, taping, masking, etc.
• Identify imperfections
• Rub and polish completed vehicles
• Assist technician in other areas as assigned
• Attend/collaborate with team during daily production meetings
• Work closely with coworkers to meet deadlines
• Keep parts area clean and organized for production efficiency
• Dispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner.

Position Requirements:

• 1+ years’ experience in a related field
• High school diploma, trade school or equivalent
• Be able to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment
• Driver’s license
• I-CAR or ASE training will set you above the crowd
